Timeshare fraud is on the rise according to the FBI's Internet crime complaint center.
Very elaborate timeshare schemes are popping up all over as more more people are trying to sell their properties, because of the economic crunch in the U.S. and abroad.

Earlier in the year the IC3 was alerted about a telemarketing scam that has bilked millions of dollars from unsuspecting owners of these properties.
